MTL and DTL Pod Systems in Dubai, Sharjah & Abu Dhabi: Buy Pod Kits, Replacement Pods, and Coils in One Place

Vaps ae brings together the UAE's most searched pod system vapes under one collection; pod kits, replacement pods, and coils from Uwell, Vaporesso, SMOK, Oxva, Voopoo, and GeekVape. Unlike disposables, a pods system vape is built to be reused, refilled, and upgraded over time, giving you more control over flavor, wattage, and cost per puff without starting from scratch every time. Whether you're setting up your first open system pod or replacing a worn coil on a kit you already own, this collection is built around what pod system users actually reorder.

Closed Pod System vs. Open System Pods

Closed system pods come pre-filled and are discarded once empty, offering the same no-maintenance convenience as a disposable but in a smaller, reusable device shell. MYLE V4 and V5 are closed pod system devices.

Open system pods are refillable, you top up your own e-liquid and replace the coil when performance starts to drop, giving you flexibility across flavors and nicotine strengths without buying a new device each time.

Most serious pod users eventually move toward open system pods simply because it works out cheaper long-term and lets them fine-tune flavor intensity and vapor output to their exact preference.

Mouth-to-Lung or Direct-to-Lung? Know Before Buying

MTL, or mouth-to-lung, pod devices replicate the tighter draw of a cigarette, pulling vapor into your mouth first before inhaling into your lungs. Kits like the Uwell Caliburn and Vaporesso Xros are built specifically for this style, pairing well with higher-resistance coils and nicotine salt e-liquid for a smooth, restricted pull.

DTL, or direct-to-lung, devices use a looser draw where vapor goes straight into your lungs, producing bigger clouds and requiring lower-resistance coils paired with freebase e-liquid, the Voopoo Drag X is a good example of a pod mod built for this style. Most vapers stick to one draw style based on personal preference, though some kits offer adjustable airflow to shift between a tighter MTL pull and a more open DTL draw.

Replacement Pods and Coils in the UAE: Keep Your Existing Kit Running

A pod system is only as good as the coil inside it, and performance drops noticeably once a coil starts burning out; flavor turns muted, vapor thins out, and you might notice a slight burnt taste. Rather than replacing the entire kit, Vaps ae stocks replacement pods and coils compatible with major device lines from Uwell, Vaporesso, SMOK, Oxva, Voopoo, and GeekVape, so you can swap out just the worn part and keep using the device you already know.

Buying coils in multi-packs is generally the more practical route for regular vapers, since coil life varies based on usage frequency and e-liquid type.

Matching Coils to E-Liquid Type

Coil resistance plays a bigger role in your vaping experience than most people realize.

• Higher-resistance coils, typically used in low-wattage pod kits like the Uwell Caliburn, are built for nicotine salt e-liquid and deliver a tighter, MTL-style draw with smoother throat hit.
• Lower-resistance coils, more common in higher-wattage kits like the Voopoo Drag X, are better suited for freebase e-liquid and produce denser vapor with a looser, more open draw.

Using the wrong e-liquid type with a mismatched coil resistance is one of the most common reasons vapers experience burnt hits or weak flavor.

When to Replace Your Coil or Pod

• Burnt or muted taste: Flavor turning flat or slightly scorched is usually the clearest sign a coil has reached the end of its life.
• Gurgling or leaking: Excess e-liquid pooling or leaking from the pod often signals a worn seal or saturated coil that needs replacing.
• Weaker vapor production: A noticeable drop in vapor density, even with a full battery, typically points to a coil losing efficiency.
• Discoloration inside the pod: Darkened residue or buildup around the coil is a visual cue it's due for a swap.

Getting the Most Out of Your Pod Kit

• Refill pods before the e-liquid runs completely dry to avoid dry hits and premature coil burnout.
• Wipe down pod contacts occasionally to maintain a clean connection with the battery.
• Replace coils every one to two weeks depending on usage frequency and e-liquid type.
• Avoid overtightening pods into the device, as this can crack seals and cause leaking.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between a pod kit and a pod mod?

A standard pod kit is typically low-wattage and built for MTL vaping, while a pod mod like the Voopoo Drag X  and Drag S offers higher wattage output for denser vapor and stronger flavor.

Are replacement coils compatible across different brands?

No, coils are generally brand and device-specific, so it's important to match the coil to your exact pod kit model. Using the correct coil ensures optimal performance, flavor, and device longevity.

How often should I replace my pod system coil?

Most coils last one to two weeks with regular use, though this varies based on e-liquid type and vaping frequency. Replace the coil when you notice reduced flavor, burnt taste, or decreased vapor production.

Do you offer pod system delivery across the UAE?

Yes, we deliver authentic pod kits, replacement pods, and coils across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and the rest of the UAE. Orders are carefully packed to help ensure they arrive safely and ready to use.

Can I buy just replacement pods without a full kit?

Yes, Vaps ae stocks standalone replacement pods and coils for most major brands we carry. This allows you to maintain your existing device without purchasing a new pod system.
